A few years ago I started developing identities for companies I felt needed a change as a hobby. As I was designing them I showed them to my family and after a few times seeing them they got so used to these new logos that when they were seeing the actual ones they got confused and asked me sometimes if they actually changed their logo or not. That's how the idea of "A Parallel World" came to life, I realized I was creating a parallel world of identities. Keep checking every once in a while to see more being added.
Concept
A world renowned destination
Awaji Island is an island in the Seto Inland Sea in Japan that has become a destination on it's own, after Tadao Ando, the reputed japanese architect, designed a park, hotel and cultural center in the quarry that was left after the dirt for the construction for Kansai Airport was taken out. There's an opportunity to develop a brand for the Island. The logo represents the "A" from Awaji and the knot represents it's re-invention as an architectural destination. The "A" has a strong geometry representing the architecture of the place incontrast with the knot that represents the stunning natural landscapes.
