A few years ago I started developing identities for companies I felt needed a change as a hobby. As I was designing them I showed them to my family and after a few times seeing them they got so used to these new logos that when they were seeing the actual ones they got confused and asked me sometimes if they actually changed their logo or not. That's how the idea of "A Parallel World" came to life, I realized I was creating a parallel world of identities. Keep checking every once in a while to see more being added.

Global Banking with Spanish Roots.
BBVA or Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria is one of the world's largest banks. It has grown over the years to have presence in countries like Mexico, Venezuela, USA, and Turkey among others. The roots of the bank are stated in its name, yet it's not clear for clients out of Spain. There's an opportunity to create a global icon, rooted in Spanish traditions and incorporating the original initials of the bank into a more abstract symbol that can accompany any name the bank has in local markets. The icon is composed of two quarter sections of a circle that represent the two "B"s of Banco and Bilbao and two diagonals that represent Vizcaya and Argentaria. The design comes from the tracing of the capital initials. They are all contained in a square that becomes a tile and draws inspiration from traditional Spanish tile floors.
