A few years ago I started developing identities for companies I felt needed a change as a hobby. As I was designing them I showed them to my family and after a few times seeing them they got so used to these new logos that when they were seeing the actual ones they got confused and asked me sometimes if they actually changed their logo or not. That's how the idea of "A Parallel World" came to life, I realized I was creating a parallel world of identities. Keep checking every once in a while to see more being added.

Prêt-à-porter coffee.
Illy Issimo is a product from world renowed Illy Coffee, it's a ready made espresso shot packed in a can meant to be drank cold.
The product has found some popularity in Asia but has failed to really position itself in Western Europe and America. There's an opportunity to redesign it's branding and packaging to better capture the escence of Illy's tradition an qualitty.
The design is all about coffee, from the logo, taking cues from Italian Rationalism to the double "S" that captures the aroma of coffee to the "O" that represents an espresso cup viewed from above.
The can is designed to reflect the iconic Matteo Thun "Illy Cup" keeping it's proportions and white porcelain color. The Concentric circles on top reflect a view of the cup from above and has a different combination of colors for each flavor.
